Sponsored Employment Position – Outback Therapy
Terms & Conditions
1. The acceptance of an applicant for the Outback Therapy employment sponsorship is at the full discretion of the management of Outback Therapy.
2. The employment sponsorship offer may be withdrawn at any time by management before an offer is made to an Applicant.
3. Any decisions made by Management in regards to the employment sponsorship is final.
4. Upon acceptance of an applicant by Outback Therapy, an employment contract with a minimum contracted period of 12 months will be signed, with an exact date to be agreed upon.
5. Upon receipt of the signed employment contract, an initial deposit of $2,500 (two thousand five hundred dollars) will be paid into the applicant’s bank account within 10 business days.
6. At completion of 6 months employment, a deposit of $2,500 (two thousand five hundred dollars) will be paid into the applicant’s bank account within 10 business days.
7. The remaining $5,000 (five thousand dollars) will be deposited into the applicant’s bank account within 10 business days of completion of the contracted 12 months.
8. Should the applicant terminate this contract at any time before the contract end date, any sponsorship funds the applicant has received from Outback Therapy, (to a maximum of $10,000) must be repaid in full immediately.
8. The applicant, upon commencement of employment is required to meet the following requirements; unrestricted General AHPRA Registration, current Professional Indemnity Insurance, current Working with Children Check, current NDIS Workers Clearance, clear National Police Check, valid Driver’s Licence. Failure to do so will be deemed a breach of contract.
10. For New Grad applicants: In the unfortunate event that you do not successfully graduate in the agreed timeframe, a discussion will be had between both parties and a mutual agreement reached.
11. Should the applicant, once employment has commenced, be deemed unsuitable for this role as assessed during employee performance reviews and employment is terminated by Outback Therapy, any funds received from the sponsorship will not be required to be repaid. The exception to this is if the applicant’s employment is terminated by Outback Therapy due to a breach of the employment contract. In this instance all sponsorship funds (to a maximum of $10,000) will be required to be repaid by the applicant.
12. Before acceptance of a contract, the applicant should consider seeking independent legal, financial and/or taxation advice.
