Outback Therapy began as Outback Physiotherapy back in 2014. Over the years the need for services and access to Allied Health Professionals in our community became increasingly apparent.
Our services have continued to evolve and we have been lucky to partner with various host organisations along the journey.
With strong ties to the Lightning Ridge community, Director Rob decided to build a practice in the Lightning Ridge community to bridge the gap and reduce barriers of access.
Sourcing practitioners in the country has continued to be a struggle and as a result we have based our head office in the Hunter Region to entice more professionals to our services. This has allowed us to establish a unique model that attracts staff that we can extend to the outback wing.
Outback Therapy strives to be a privately funded hub for service access. We aim to not only provide in house services, we hope to partner with service providers to utilise our space to improve the health and well being of our wonderful community.
We are proud of the space we have built at Outback Therapy and are excited to be able to offer our space to hire to a variety of services.
We are able to offer individual consult rooms to hire, as well as a large meeting space. This may be suitable for visiting health services to the town or those wishing to host events etc
Our facility has access to a disabled toilet as well as kitchenette, reception area and multiple street parking.
