About Kathryn Brogan

I moved to Lightning Ridge when I was 5 from the Queensland Gem fields. We lived on a mining camp in Coocran and I was home-schooled for 3 years before we moved in to town. I now consider myself a Ridge local and absolutely love the area! When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and ragdoll cat, Charlie. We sometimes even go opal mining to find opals for me to carve!
